Antikes Schwert Lombok, lo39

 

Dieses antike Schwert stammt aus Lombok. Die Pamor ist Ngulit Semongko (Ngulit = Schale, Semongko = Wassermelone). Am Ende wo bei Keris die Kembang Kacang findet, sieht man eine erstklassig gearbeitete Drachenfigur, die diese Klinge sehr wertvoll macht.

 

Die Scheide ist aus Knochen gefertigt und in dieser Länge eine ungewöhnliche Arbeit. Man findet schöne Ornamente auf beiden Seiten. Den Scheidenkopf bildet eine braune Drachenfigur, die ebenfalls sehr detailgetreu dargestellt ist. Der Fuß der Scheide ist wie eine Fischflosse gestaltet. Der Griff stellt ebenfalls einen Drachen dar und er ist aus schwarzem Büffelhorn gefertigt. Als Selut fungiert ein helles Knochenstück. Insgesamt ein einmaliges Stück.

 

Die Klingenlänge beträgt 51,60 cm, die Gesamtlänge 80,00 cm, das Gewicht beträgt 1.295 Gramm.
