Dieses neuartige Paar Lawi Ayam hat eine schöne gewundene Klinge. Man nennt es auch Taji Ayam oder Kerambit und findet es in Sumatra oder auch West – Java. Die Klinge hat keine Pamor.

 

Die Verkleidungen wurden erneuert. Die Scheide ist aus dunkel braunem fast schwarzem Holz mit einigen geschnitzten Motiven. Der Griff ist aus dem gleichen Holz.

 

Die Klingen sind 14,90 bzw. 15,00 cm lang und die Gesamtlängen betragen 29,20 cm und 28,40 cm. Die Klingen wiegen 70 bzw. 66 Gramm, die Gesamtgewichte sind je 175 Gramm.

This is a pair of new Lawi Ayam with nice bending blades. It is also called Taji Ayam or Kerambit. It mostly is found in Sumatra and West Java areas. The blade has no pamor.

 

The clothes are new made. The sheath is made from dark brown and nearly black wood with nice carvings. The hilt is made from the same wood.

 

The length of the blades are about 5 7/8 inches (14.90 cm and 15.00 cm), the total lengths are about 11 ½ inches (29.20 cm) and 11 1/8 inches (28.40 cm). The weight of the blades = 70 grams and 66 grams and the total weight = 175 grams each one.
