Sabuk Inten

is a Dapur of a keris with 11 Luk. The blade length is normal. It ahs Kembang Kacang, two Lambe Gajah, double Sogokan, Sraweyan and Ri Pandan or Greneng. This Dapur is well known since the 70's of the last century through a book and almost every collector has a keris from this Dapur. This resembles the Dapur Dapur Carita Keprabon the only difference that Carita Keprabon has the additions Gusen and Lis-Lisan.

is a belt to complete the clothes in Surakarta.

Sabuk Tali

is a dapur of a keris with 11 Luk. The blade length is normal. The Gandik is simple and the Ricikan sparse, it has only a short and narrow Sogokan front and Tingil. Krisses with this Dapur are rare.

Sabuk Tampar

is a Dapur of a keris with 9 Luk. The blade length is normal. The keris has a Kembang Kacang, only one Lambe Gajah and even a Sogokan. There is this Dapur also with 11 Luk. The Luk are (lying inside) Rengkol. There is thereby a simple Gandik, Pejetan, Sogokan and Sraweyan.

Sadak

is a Dapur of a straight Tombak. The blade is symmetrical and quite thick. The shape is similar to the Dapur Godong Andong, in the center, however, is a Bangkekan. In the lower half you will find an Ada-Ada. Earlier, the term was used for this Menur Dapur today Menur Sadak is a term with a baton.

Sabdo Palan, Kanjeng Kyai

is a Pusaka Keris privately owned. It was made by Toni Yunus the author of the book „Tafsir Keris“. He is a recognized keris expert.

Salahita, Empu

often called Salaita or Empu Galaita lived in Tuban in the 15th century and was a well known Empu.

Sala Ketingal

is the Dapur of a Padang, which is one of the Padang Sudzuk. The length of this Pedang is approx. 82 to 95 cm. The back of the blade is on the straight portion towards the tip blunt but sharp. This Pedang is not heavy and was often worn by soldiers in his left hand next to the normal sword in his right hand.

Sampur

is the Dapur of a straight keris. The blade length is normal and the Ricikan are almost entirely. There are Kembang Kacang, Jenggot, Jalen, two Lambe Gajah, Tikel Ali Ada-Ada, double Sogokan, Pudak Sategal and Kruwingan. This is often called Dapur Sinom Pudak Sategal.

Sampir

is part of a gandar of a warangka in West Sumatra, Riau, Malaysia and Brunei. In Java, the term Awak-Awakan is used for the warangka. Sampir is also a Pamor.

Sana Keling

is a type of wood, often also written Sonokeling. This wood is often used for a warangka of a keris and in South Java you will find many of these trees. However, this wood has a lower quality, it is also used for a Kendaga. Other types of wood can be found here.

Sandang Walikat

is a form of a warangka in Surakarta, Yogyakarta, Cirebon, Bali and Madura. In Madura and East Java it is called warangka Juringan, in Bali Kojongan. Compared to the other models as Gayaman or Branggah it is simple and practical, so that it cannot easily get broken. For this warangka there are special handles when no mendak is used. Many of these are made of wood and are warangka gandar Iras. Some particularly in Bali are covered with silver and with gold plating and with precious stones. Often this warangka is used for krisses with a short blade as Jalak Buda, Betok, Semar Tinandu and Putut. This type of warangka is the oldest and is found already at the era of Majapahit.

Handles for Waranga Sandang Walikat without mendak

Sanga-Sanga

is a Dapur of a Tombak with 9 Luk. This Tombak has an Ada-Ada. The entire blade is decorated with Sinarasah or kinatah Gold. This Dapur is rare to find, because it is difficult to make such a Tombak. Most are Pusaka Tombak.

Sanggabraja

is the name of the people of Madura for pamor. It resembles the pamor Ujung Gunung but has only a "summit", you find in Ujung Gunung many "peaks". Keris experts believe this pamor has positive power and helps against the machinations of evil men and Spooky. You get more informations here.

Santan

is the Dapur of a kris with 11 Luk. The blade length is normal and at the Pucuk relatively thin compared to other Krisses. This Dapur has Kembang Kacang, Jenggot, one Lambe Gajah, Tikel Alis, Pejetan, Greneng with Ronda Nunut. This Dapur is found in many krisses from the Tangguh Mataram.
